I created my profile, found some intriguing profiles, and would like to communicate with them via e-mail. So what now?

In order to send or receive e-mails from other members, you must become a paying member of the Loovya community. To become a member, sign in with your user name and password. Look for the "Join" link at the top of the page, and have your credit card ready. The minute you become a member, you can take advantage of our full range of communication tools.

I posted my profile a while ago, and no one has contacted me yet. How can I get noticed?

Make sure your headline packs a punch and sets you apart from others. This is one of the first things other searchers will see, so make it stand out.
Update your profile so it sizzles. Don't sound like an egomaniac, but do give others a glimpse of what a catch you are.
Consider updating/adding your photo(s). Profiles with photos are proven get more viewers, as other searchers have the option of filtering out profiles with no photos.

How do I know if another member has contacted me?

If a member contacts you, we will forward his or her e-mail to the e-mail address that's saved in your profile. This way, your personal e-mail address will always remain anonymous. Additionally, Loovya saves all your messages in the "My Messages" section of the site for 30 days. You can check back to the site at any time to find out who has contacted you.

How do I make changes to my profile?

No. You are not required to include a photo in your profile; however, we highly recommend it. Why? When searching, many users opt to filter out profiles that are missing photos. In fact, profiles with photos get viewed about 15 times more than those without photos. Remember -- not everyone is searching for a supermodel. You can easily make up for a not-so-flattering photo by letting your personality shine in other sections of your profile.

What are the specifications for adding photos?

Photos must be in .gif or .jpg format
Photos must be less than 1 megabyte in size
Photos cannot contain any illegal activities
Your profile can store up to seven photos at one time
Photos are subject to online approval (Loovya reserves the right to block and delete any photos deemed inappropriate)

How do I change or delete the photo(s) in my profile?

After you sign in, locate the "My Profile" section in the top navigation bar. Click on the "My Photos" link, and we'll show you which photos are currently saved to your profile. From there, we'll walk you through how to change or delete your current photos.

How long does it take for my photo(s) to appear online?

Do I have control over who sees my photo(s)?

Yes. For each photo you add to your profile, you can select "public" or "private." Public photos are available to everyone, at any time. Private photos are available only to those whom you have given a bedroom key, which allows you to grant or revoke photo-viewing access at any time.

What is a bedroom key?

Think of it as a VIP pass. By handing other members your bedroom key, you're inviting them to view your private photo collection. When keys are requested of you, you may view other users' profiles to decide whether or not they are granted access. You may hand out or revoke keys at any time.

What are Winks?

Winks are simply stated one-liners that let others know they've caught your eye. Once you've found a profile that intrigues you, you can initiate communication by sending a Flirt or Flash. Play it safe by sending a modest Flirt, or spice it up right off the bat with a Flash. Loovya saves and manages all your Winks for you, so you can always check out who's checking you out.
